Hello, my friends! As we near the end of 2017, I thought I’d let you know what plans I have in store around here. As previously mentioned, I’ll be focused on finishing up my RoboCop comics retrospective for December, but let’s take a gander at my plans for the first half of 2018.
As I brought up in the previous issue of C3 Chronicle, January and February will be dedicated towards finishing up my look at Marvel Anime. All that remains are the series’ two films: “Iron Man: Rise Of Technovore” and “Avengers Confidential: Black Widow & Punisher”. Another slice of Marvel’s home video outings will be brought to an end as the new year opens.
For March, I’ll review the first animated outing that the DC Universe Animated Original Movie line has for this year. Just like “Justice League: Gods & Monsters”, we’re heading back into Elseworlds territory as I look at the adaptation of DC’s very first Elseworlds story called “Batman: Gotham By Gaslight”.
Heading into April (and most likely May as well), I’m bringing back a certain “Bonus Look”. Having already looked at “Batman & Harley Quinn”, I’ll take a look at the two mini-series that tied in with the film: the five-issue prequel series and the seven-issue series that follows the events of the film. By the time June rolls around, I’m pretty sure that “Sucide Squad: Hell To Pay” will have come out by that point. Depending on what happens when we eventually get there, I’ll let you know what I’ll have in mind.
Well, that’s it for now. If there’s any changes, I’ll bring it up in a future update. Until next time, see you around the C-Cubed!
