Who is the man behind the identity? Why, it’s Ian! Since my earliest memories of Batman: The Animated Series, Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers and a copy of Alpha Flight #44 that I received during elementary school, superheroes and comic books have been implanted into my conscious for as long as I can remember.
Growing up, several TV shows (mainly that of Bruce Timm’s DC Animated variety) have molded my fascination for the super-fantastic while a now-closed comic book store located within walking distance from my university at the beginning of my college days in 2005 has begun a resurgent collecting for comics that has grown to a respectable size since.
Thanks to a suggestion from a mentor, I started this blog with the intent of speaking my mind about every entry in the DC Universe Animated Original Movie line. While I still do that, I’ve also expanded myself to other comics-related topics.
I’m a kind and understanding person who believes in the best for humanity, so one could see how Superman is one of my favorite superheroes. I also like the sly wit of Spider-Man plus the bravery of Captain America, so those two are my favs from Marvel. In terms of superheroines, it’s a tie between Power Girl and She-Hulk. Two lovely ladies who know when & how to throw down and their own humor is just as witty and charming.
